Referrer spam, again

Although I think the whole concept of 'referrer spam' is stupid and a waste of time, here's a quick fix for those of you running Analog:

REFEXCLUDE http://*jennifersblog.com/*
REFEXCLUDE http://*malixya.com/*
REFEXCLUDE http://*bongohome.com/*
REFEXCLUDE http://*a-b-l-o-g.com/*
REFEXCLUDE http://*kwalablog.com/*
REFEXCLUDE http://*wr18.com/*
REFEXCLUDE http://*mikesblog.com/*
REFEXCLUDE http://*saulem.com/*
REFEXCLUDE http://*akksess.com/*
REFEXCLUDE http://*worldnewslog.com/*
REFEXCLUDE http://*teoras.com/*

eric thought i was crazy and was fashioning a tinfoil hat for me until he ran across a link to this on metafilter. these were particularly strange because the link to the porn was buried in a clear gif. what did show was just a super generic blog.

Eric, there's one decent discussion here: http://www.idly.org/2003/11/14/porn_sites_hiding_behind_blogs.php

I threw my two cents in at comment #51. It seems to me this is more of an attempt to grab Google hits from MT sites than from open referrer logs.

...and they may be scraping the Weblogs XML feed or Blogrolling's: they showed up at my place and I don't run comments or link much on either of my sites (and my logs are run in Analog on the local Linux box and are not available on line).

They straight turned up in the refer logs of my site too, and I'm not using any kind of recognisable CMS. I reckon they're targetting pretty much any site.
