I’m completely with Sydney on this one: boycott Valentine’s Day.
Well, I’ll probably burn some games for my little brother, but I don’t forsee myself doing anything remotely interesting on V-Day. I’m not bitter; I’ve just not met anyone new in a while. Part of this I can confidantly blame on my work schedule, and the rest I can honestly blame on my own hermitlike laziness. I’ll just sit around and goof off and if something nice happens to fall into my lap, great! Hey, it worked for Kevin.
Now Here is something I havent done for a long time. Maybe I should. Its great for stress. That is unless the cops are chasing you. Almost forgot, that’s my brother in the picture.
Yay! I’m now a citizen of Cyber Yugoslavia!
My official title is “Secretary of Horrible and Incorrect Thoughts,” or “Ministar groznih i netacnih misli” in the language of the Homeland.
Now, researchers have discovered what may be a biological basis for empathy.
“These neurons are active when their owners perform a certain task, and in this respect are wholly unremarkable. But, more interestingly, the same neurons fire when their owner watches someone else perform that same task. “
More in-depth discussion can be found at The Edge, a site to which I’m definitely going to be paying more attention.

In the search for better web-mapping tools, I’ve found IOD, from the [highly weird] people at Backspace.org. The interface is obscure and CAD-like, but the results are exhaustively phenomenal. Consider this: IOD crawls a site for all its links, plots them, then crawls each plotted link for links, plots them, then plots all links off those links. All of this information is then accessible through an interactive map. A partial map of Unxmaal.com is here; with the original URL highlighted in red.
