I almost missed this while I was in Atlanta: Apparently it is now possible to run Linux on your Dreamcast. Now, this is not for kids; you have to do some very scary things just to get it to boot, but it’s still very cool. Other than running Distributed.net, I can’t yet imagine why anyone would want to do this… but that’s not going to stop me from trying.

The older I get, the more I discover that the simple facts and truths I was taught in school and lectured on in college are not so simple and, indeed, not as factual, as I was led to believe. According to this article, there is growing dissatisfaction with the common chronology of history — to such a point that some question the validity of any historical timeline that goes back before 4AD.
I suppose that if this CCNA thing doesn’t work out, I could always go into the shady world of sperm exportation.

Now that I’ve quit rambling, Digital Leisure has released Dragon’s Lair On DVD. I ooo’d and aaah’d and drooled over this game back in the day when it was on the arcade. There have been several ports that used the same name for the NES, SNES, Sega and such but none could capture the same quality and gameplay. Go buy this today and get to wastin some quality time in front of the tube!
