Just realized that there was a site using blogger that Eric doesn’t know about (at least, not that I know of) – domesticat.net. This is Amy’s site, a good friend. The quantity of similarities between us is very disturbing, but I love her anyways. Truly a wondergeek at heart.

PS: Sting rocks my world.

A friend of mine sent me this link to what looks like a fun toy. Everyone needs an inflatable titanic slide in their back yard (well, assuming you don’t live in a shitty apartment like me.). 🙂

Pee-wee football time yet again on Sand Mountain. Somebody lock me in a closet, PLEASE. I do not wish to be responsible for orphaning all of those children in the midst of one of my fits. It just really would not matter much at all (from a legal standpoint) that I would be freeing same children from a life of servitude to parents that choose to live vicariously through little Jon and Jen….

It seems like there has been a Pixies fetish wave or something sweeping over most of my friends lately. I’ve had my copy of Doolittle in a lot, Unx has been listening to them, and even one of my hard core goth friendshas been talking about them. Damnit, I want a reunion tour or something. Pixies rock. I spent a large portion of my high school years sitting in my bedroom, depressed as hell, playing “Wave of Mutilation” on repeat. For hours.

Macromedia now has some nifty shockwave versions of old Midway arcade games. Stuff like joust, defender, sinistar, robotron, satan’s hollow …

No! Hooray for ME!! I am the prowd owner of one of an Aiwa CDC-MP3. I installed it last night and I’m loving it so far. I’m currently playing a CD-RW full of raver kid music as a test (well ok not currently but when I’m in the car). I’ll probably get around to posting a half assed review next week after I’ve banged on it a bit.

oh and COULD SOMEONE PLEASE STOP THAT INCESSANT BLINKING?!?!

I found something interesting on the first day of my Intro to Fourier Analysis, in my lecture notes (the notes are actually part of a book that Dr. Howell is writing).

These lecture notes are copyrighted according to current copyright laws, and, as they say, “all rights reserved.” Any attempt to reproduce these notes for personal profit and without the author’s permission will be found rather amusing.1

1 CRC Press may bee less amused. They have an expert on copyright law enforcement. His name is “Spike.”

It’s official, Netscape sucks. And not just the annoying-periodically sucking, the huge-archnemesis-crappy-browser sucking. And it can officially bite me. Really. I want it to die a slow and horrid death. That would make me feel much better right now.

Welcome to the sorrows of a web geek. But once I beat Netscape into submission, I’ll have a cool new design for astrogeek.net. Then all will be good, and life can go on. Until I get pissed off at Netscape again.
