If Christmas music hasn’t irritated you sufficiently, I suggest checking out the songs from the Vib Ribbon soundtrack.
These seven songs are supposedly made by a J-Pop band called “Laugh and Beats”. Although I can’t find any reference to the band outside of this soundtrack, I’m sure they really exist, though they probably went into hiding after the game’s release. The music itself can be described as what would happen if you dosed a couple hundred giggly Japanese girls with forty pounds of CIA-grade MDMA, forced them to watch 48 hours’ worth of Loony Toons cartoons, then let them loose in Moby‘s recording studio.

Concerned about buying a music CD that won’t play in your home PC or car stereo due to copy protection? Check Fatchuck’s Corrupt CD List before you buy a CD. Also, be sure to purchase new CDs with a credit card, so if they are “defective”, you can return them and contest the charges with your creditor.

This looks pretty cool. Any of you Windows users wanna try it out? A little search / calculator gizmo that lives directly in the Windows taskbar. And it’s GPLed.
From the depths of obscure FTP sites, I’ve discovered Lacuna Coil. I’m quite impressed by their gothy-metal goodness. Take a listen via their MP3.com page.
Yikes! Here‘s how you make a fully-functional Beretta 9mm out of Legos!
