On Interstate 75 in Dalton, GA (the carpet capitol of the known universe), one can see this business from the southbound lanes. But wait, there’s more — see the billboard at the top right? That’s the part that’s turned perpendicular to the interstate. It’s got their name again, in huge block letters, with “HARDWOOD AND VINYL” emblazoned beneath.

You know it’s gonna be a good night when you crash almost half a million dollars’ worth of Cisco routers.

Cisco TAC Tool

Cisco has a nice new tool on their website for registered users that searches their vast gigage of data for relevant articles based on questions or phrases you enter.

The response I got was very interesting:

“We are working to increase the content in the TAC knowledgebase. The information you have entered throughout this session has been sent to the TAC web team to guide its knowledge development efforts.”

This is interesting, because the phrase I entered was “I am a monkey.”

Poor choice of names

Driving to the customer‘s site this morning, I spotted a sign claiming credit for some work that this company had done. Am I the only one who thinks they could have chosen a name with a better boding for their business?
